We would like to thank families for their patience as we continue to experience board wide challenges connected to some of our digital applications, including School-Day. While School-Day will be an incredibly important communication tool, we also encourage all families to subscribe to our school website (coh.wrdsb.ca) to stay up-to-date and informed about school events, activities and reminders. Please scroll to the bottom of our school website (coh.wrdsb.ca) and enter your email address in the space provided. Select “subscribe” to receive school notifications when new information is added to the website.

Welcome Back Open House

This is a reminder to all families of our Welcome Back Open House happening on Wednesday, September 21st, from 6-7pm. Please enter the school through the main entrance to make your way to your child’s classroom for a visit and introduction to their homeroom teacher.

Terry Fox Run

Our school will be proudly taking part in the 2022 Terry Fox Run, on Friday, September 23rd. This event will support cancer research while also building incredible school spirit for our students.

You can support us in our challenge to TRY LIKE TERRY:
● The Terry Fox Foundation has created an online fundraising page for our school.
Just click this link: https://schools.terryfox.ca/CountryHillsSchoolKitchener to donate. There is no minimum donation and receipts are emailed to donors.
OR
● Anytime during the week of September 19 – 23, send in a toonie with your child. We will collect Toonies for Terry throughout the week.

Parking Lot Attendant

We are hiring a Parking Lot Attendant! If you, or someone you know, are over the age of 18 and interested in keeping our students safe during arrival and dismissal times, this is the job for you! Please contact the main office, 519-743-6331, or email our Principal, Beth Creighton, at beth_creighton@wrdsb.ca to share your interest. This job will be 1 hour per day, Monday to Friday from 8:25-8:55 am and 2:45-3:15 pm. The hourly rate is $15.00.
